Different hosting solutions and products for different needs
This is a list of the different hosting types and the included products and services.
- LAMP
- LAMP = Linux, Apache, MySQL, Perl/PHP/Python. This is a standard virtual Apache host. Included is full access to the access and error logfiles, cgi-bin with Perl, PHP, SecureShell and SecureCopy (aka SecureFTP) access and access to the WebAdmin Interface.
- COREBlog
- This is a Zope Product for professional Weblogs. You can have a look to a productive example weblog.
- Shared Zope Instance
- This service gives you manage access to your own ZMI (Zope Management Interface) with at least
these Zope products:
- MetaPublisher
- PhotoFolder
- StructuredDocument
- TinyTablePlus
- and more ... contact us if you need additional products.
- Private Zope Server
- You receive full access to your own Zope service. Shell access and SecureFTP access to all parts of a Zope server are granted: Products, Extensions, var and import directories are part of it and are needed for developing and for Zope imports and exports. You can add products with the exception of Plone and products which access the local filesystem as e.g. LocalFS (we install these for you, if needed).
- Private Plone Server
- You receive full access to your own Zope service. Shell access and SecureFTP access to all parts of a Zope server are granted: Products, Extensions, var and import directories are part of it and are needed for developing and for Zope imports and exports. You can add additional products with the exception of products which access the local filesystem as e.g. LocalFS (we install these for you, if needed).
- Plone Site
- You receive management access to your own Plone site.
- Managed Dedicated Server (EntryLevel)
- This gives you comprehensive access and power.
This is not only a virtual root access or virtual server. It is a physical machine, used only by you. You have
unlimited resources, are the only user on a real physical, security hardened linux system (not only a
virtual server). You can use additional products like SQL server and others.
We inspect the security aspects on a regular basis, backups are done 3 times a week or more if you need that.
- Managed Dedicated Server (HighLevel)
- This gives you the most comprehensive access and power. This is not only a virtual root access or virtual server. It is a physical machine, used only by you. You have unlimited resources, are the only user on a real physical, security hardened enterprise linux system (not only a virtual server). You can install additional products like SQL server and others or you let us install it for you. We inspect the security aspects on a regular basis, backups are done 3 times a week or more if you need that. The difference to the EntryLevel Server is the faster hardware used for these systems.
